What is Cataract?
Cataracts occur when the normally clear lens of the eye becomes cloudy. Cataract sufferers see through cloudy lenses much like looking through frosted or fogged windows.
It can affect day to day life, reading, driving, seeing peoples faces.
Most cataracts develop slowly but if left untreated, it can interfere with your vision.
Cataracts can initially be treated with stronger lighting and eyeglasses. The more impaired your vision is, the more likely it is that you will need cataract surgery. The good news is that this surgery is generally a safe and effective procedure
